*No Prints Allowed* RK Kona Project

Hi everyone! So we've finally gotten the details hammered out with the beautiful charm packs sent to us by Robert Kaufman and we're excited to get this project started.

Taking our cues from other MQGs, we're also doing the "No Prints Allowed" project. It's a great balance between having the freedom to create what you want while having a bit of cohesion among the projects.

Since we've been trying to obtain these charm packs since the summer, I thought by ordering 30 packs we'd have plenty to go around for our members at that time. However, with all of the growth we've seen in membership since the summer, I'm not sure if we'll have enough packs for everyone.

So, to make it as fair as possible, we're offering the charm packs to the paid 2011 members first.  Anything left over will be given out in a lottery to those that want to participate.  Sound fair?

Guidelines

Make anything you want  - clothing, quilts, home dec items, art pieces.
No prints allowed - only true solids.
You can use whatever line of solids you want. {Using RK Kona is not mandatory}
Deadline for projects is the May 2012 meeting
Use as little or as much of the charm pack as you wish

Charm packs are free and available for pick up at Wednesday's meeting. You do not have to be present to get your pack. Send me an email if you can't be there and I'll get it to you somehow.

I'm sure I've missed a detail or two, so if you have questions, just ask!

Thanks!
~Andie
